| The rear cover illustration. |
|
This is the illustration on what appears to be the outer rear cover and depicts the L'esplanade des Invalides'.
I say what appears to be as I do not know how many pages there should be. The quality of the document and illustrations
is very high. Condition of the document is not bad, given its history. Pages are detached but again, we do not know if
this is intentional as the are no obvious binding marks. The front 'cover' has some damage to the left upright portion of
the 'frame'.
A superb item, we believe this is a rare and important document especially for French History
and therefore it is priced at £25+P&P. Please use the 'PayPal 'buy now' button or our Contact details page for more information or to place your order.

Another item believed to be scarce. This is a Photogravure image of the Chapelle de Sacre-Coeur, in Paris, France,
on a postcard dated 1901. It is believed this may be a form of proof as the words 'carte postale' are crossed out
and replaced with the word 'imprime' on the front. This Chapelle photo pre-dates the current building (completed in 1914)
and WW1. As can be seen on the card to the right of the picture are the words, 'pour prendre longe'. Perhaps a French speaker
could explain the significance of that phrase in this context.
Price is £3.50+P&P. Please use our Contact details to make further enquiries.
